It is the mission of Westfield Child Center to develop, implement, and maintain an environment that is rich in social, behavioral, creative, and academic development. We aim to provide a safe, loving, nurturing, and supportive atmosphere for the children, families, and staff. We strive to build a sense of belonging while respecting each other's individuality, diversity, and uniqueness. We encourage all of the children, families, and staff who walk through our doors to work as a team. We believe that teamwork makes the future brighter.

We Offer:

• Quality Education: We believe that learning is accomplished through developmentally appropriate activities. We combine the essential elements needed to enhance the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of your child. Music, creative art, drama, math, environmental studies, technology, physical education, and communication skills are incorporated into a program of discovery for your child. We strive to help your child excel to his or her maximum potential. We believe that children who have successful learning experiences develop a love for learning.
  
• Experienced, Trained Professionals: Our teachers have been trained in early childhood development and have many years of successful experience. Our pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten teachers hold a minimum of a bachelor's degree. In addition, all staff members are required to continue their education on an ongoing basis by participating in early childhood workshops and/or college courses. Every staff member is certified in CPR and First Aid.
  
• Program Reviews: Each year, as part of our commitment to high-quality education, we voluntarily undergo a comprehensive process of internal self-study and external professional review. The process examines the total program and emphasis is placed on the quality of interactions between staff and children and the developmental appropriateness of the curriculum.
